Coconut Oil – 1 tblspn
Onion – 1 medium size sliced thinly
Curry leaves a handful
Prawns – 250 grams chopped into small pieces
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Lemon Juice or Vinegar – 1 tblspn
Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Coconut – 1 cup grated
Dry Red Chillies – 2
Fennel Seeds / Saunf / Sombu – 1 tsp
Cinnamon / Pattai – 1 small piece
Take marination ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Leave it to marinate for 10 mins.
Take grinding ingredients in a blender and make it into a coarse mix, dont add water to this.
Heat oil in a pan, add in onions, curry leaves and give s quick toss. Add in the prawns and cook on high heat till the water leached from the prawns dries up.
Now add in coconut masala and toss well till it is well roasted.
