Beef Roast in dry red chilles and Shallots Recipe

INGREDIENTS (SERVINGS 5)

  • Beef – 500gm
  • Shallots – 20 nos
  • Dry red chillies – 10 nos
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Kashmiri red chilly powder – 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander seed – 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Curry leaves – 2 string
  • Salt to taste
  • Water – 1 cup
  • Coconut oil – 4 tsp

DIRECTIONS

  1. Clean the beef and cut it into small pieces.
  2. Take a pressure cooker add beef, kashmiri red chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste, salt, garam masala and water. Cook this for 10 minutes.
  3. Grind shallots, dry red chillies and coriander seeds in a grinder.
  4. Heat coconut oil in a pan and add the grated mixture and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add cooked beef into this mixture and cook for 5 more minutes.
  6. Finally season with pepper powder and curry leaves. The dish is ready to be served.
